Pumpkin Patch

It was off to the pumpkin patch last week on a field trip for Kades preschool. We went to the Red Barn out in Santaquin. They had a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, picked apples from the orchard and then had an apple cider doughnut, so yummy I might add!! Well worth the drive!

Kade and a his carpool buddies.

On the hay wagon, on our way to the pumpkin patch

Trying really hard to get that darn pumpkin!! Yes he fell down when it finally decided to let go of the vine. I was not quick enough with the camera.

Got it!!

Of course he had to get a picture of that "John Deere green tractor"
They went for a walk in the orchard and pick and apple too. Showing off there produce!

He did not put that little pumpkin down all day..........he even had to sleep with it.
The same night we had to come up with some way of keeping little "monster" in her room!! She can now climb out of her bed and unlock her door, yes unlock her door!!( we thought we had won the battle by locking the door, apparently not) We cannot put those child door knob things on because our door have handles rather than knobs :( so.......after some thought......we ran down to get the gate! Yes, we gate our child in her room at night and at nap time. She finally quit crying and went back in her crib and went to sleep. Now she doesn't even bother coming out of her bed because she knows that she is going no where. hehehe

How fun! We just went with Austin's class to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday and I chaperoned for that too. I will be posting pictures of those on my blog here soon. I may have had similar pictures with 2 of his buddies who I was supposed to be incharge of. It was fun. BTW I LOVE your hair. Did you cut it? It looks like you may have cute quite a bit off...haven't ya?
